At Dive Locker Albany we offer daily double dive charters to the wrecks and reefs within the King George Sound.
Morning departure 8.30 AM , return 12.30 PM
Afternoon departure 1.30 PM , return 5.30PM
Our surveyed vessel Albany Dive. com will get you to the dive sites fast whilst providing comfort and shelter from the elements, an onboard toilet and most importantly a very easy entry into and exit from the water via a comfortable ladder. You'll be offered a light refreshment between the dives and the crew will assist you should you have any special needs.
Dive Locker - Albany offers two outstanding wreck dives in the HMAS PERTH & the Cheynes III suitable for Open Water divers and experienced divers alike.
The HMAS Perth is a133m long destroyer with a depth range from 0 - 35m. With the ships mast out of the water, bridge, gun, radar, heads and other interesting maritime artifacts being intact, offering opportunity for wreck penetration and training.
Check www.hmasperth.com.au for the live webcams. Cheynes III is the first 'prepared' dive wreck in the southern hemisphere, scuttled in 1982 she sits in 22m of water. Both of these artificial reefs are teaming with tropical & subtropical marine life like the rare Leafy Seadragon, delighting photographers from all over the world.
Both wrecks are nestled within the King George Sound with visibility up to 25m + and only a very short boat trip on Albany Dive.com our comfortable charter vessel carrying 12 divers.
Our departure jetty is located behind the Albany Entertainment Centre on Princes Royal Drive, only minutes from the Dive Shop. Free vehicle parking is available in the car park next to the boat shed building.(image) (map)
